Description
Eliptical earthenware form, with a pink matt glaze and purple rim, decorated with intersecting lines of, yellow and blue.
Materials and techniques
Oxidised earthenware: buff clay inlaid with a grid of red clay in two tones and grated clay. Decorated with pink matt glaze; the unglazed clay covered in washes of enamel; blue, green and yellow with a purple enamel rim. Slab-built. Glaze fired to 1180 deg. C.; enamel fired to 800 deg. C.
