Description
Brick with grey glaze contained inside a bag made of fibreglass tissue, dipped in chrome-coloured porcelain slip.
Materials and techniques
Bag: Fibreglass tissue dipped in chrome coloured porcelain slip and draped over stainless steel armature. Steel spines pressed through porcelain 'sheet' when wet.
Brick: oven-fired house brick surrounded by chrome green Egyptian paste. Fired to 1250 deg. C. Oxidised stoneware, ash glaze.
