Maker's statement

One of three (see also P301 and P328) non-functional pieces influenced by the West Coast (American) "tradition" of working out variations on a well known or "classic" ceramic object (eg. teapot, plate or cup) in a spirit of decadent playfullness to make a sculptural object.
