Description

Wide limestone and fireclay bowl with a narrow foot, decorated with a combination of gold, silver, and copper lustres in abstract patterns.

Materials and techniques

Local limestone marl amd fireclay body, wheel-thrown. Decorated with lustres: combinations of gold, silver, bismuth, copper and mercury. Glazed with an alkaline glaze. Reduction-fired to 760 deg.C in a wood-fired kiln.
