Description

Stoneware mixing bowl, with a foot and a pulled lip for pouring, with a green/white raw glaze inside, and a green/brown outer glaze.

Materials and techniques

Stoneware. Kick-wheel thrown and turned. Inside raw glazed with white/green glaze, outside glazed with green/brown glaze. Pulled lip for pouring, angled front edge of foot for mixing. Oil fired to 1280 - 1300 deg.C in a reduction atmosphere.

Part of standard range of domestic pots made from 1975. Mixing bowls in 3 sizes, large, medium, small; also with colanders to fit inside.
