Description
Stoneware teapot in the shape of a bird with the tail as the spout, and a brightly coloured body in yellows, blues, greens and browns, with some lustre on the wings.
Materials and techniques
Hand built fron St.Thomas' stoneware clay. White slip applied, then underglazes and oxides. Stoneware glazed and fired, then earthenware glazed and fired. Finally low temperature enamels and lustres added and fired.
