Description
Clay representation of a human head with small ears, inside a boat with copper wheels, coloured in blues, pinks and greens.
Materials and techniques
Handbuilt clay with lithium based glazes, fired three times to build up an impasto. Wheels made by soldering copper sheet together.

The head and boat is a recurring image to which I return frequently. The boat is a symbol - a conscious and subconscious vehicle central in my physical world and in my dreamscape.
