Maker's statement

The cups I make now developed out of making cups and saucers (made 1994 & 1995) are influencesd from "horus" (?), Korean cups and "Moche" Peruvian ceremonial drinking vessels (called Pachas). I have no wish to copy these ancient cups but to try to get some of their feeling in a contemporary way.
