Description

Bowl with two small handles, painted with white slips, and decorated with blue abstract patterns.

Materials and techniques

Clay body: 50% red clay, 50% ball clay. Slip: 60% ball clay, 40% china clay. Decoration painted on with brushes (cobalt oxide). Glaze: 75% leadm 25% white clay. Firing temp: 1060 - 1080 deg. C.
