Materials and techniques

Thrown red clay. Decoration of white slip and burnished when leather hard on the outside. Clear-glazed outside. Fired to 1100 deg.C.

Maker's statement

Inside of jug glazed for the sale of practical cleanliness.
I like making plates, cups and saucers and have always been inspired by Cretau pottery whose handles I try to copy - they give a good balance.
