Description

Porcelain and T-material jug, with textured surface achieved by a layer of oxide-loaded slip and two layers of glaze.

Materials and techniques

Assembled from a thrown sleeve of clay, flattened and cut: pulled handle and modelled spout. Body is porcelain with an addition of T material. The surface is a layer of oxide loaded slip with two layers of glaze. Fired to 1260 deg. C in electric kiln
