Description

Round stoneware dish brown coloured with a blue line drawing of a bird covering the whole dish. Three pieces of vegetation drawn in brown lines are also depicted. The rim of dish is raised with two brown lines and two blue lines around the lip of the dish.

Materials and techniques

Reduced stoneware with brush decoration in iron brown and cobalt blue pigments. Glazed on inside and rim. Thrown. Fired to 1270 deg. C.
