Description
Porcelain pot with a semi-matt white glaze with copper-red fleck, cylindrical shape with winged shaped attachments on both sides.
Materials and techniques
Reduced porcelain with semi-matt white glaze and copper oxide. Thrown. Wings made by stabbing a block of clay with a number of modelling tools and applied when leather hard. Biscuit fired to 960 deg. C; glaze fired to 1280 deg. C.
