Maker's statement

I have been working in response to my feelings about areas of the north Norfolk coast since 1992. This piece is very much an important stage development in this working process and represents a turning point: scale, form, content and colour. I began to develop early on in a series of work and progressed slowly throughout a continuous period of producing a body of work for exhibition. It is very important to me.
