Long shawl, one side silk, one side black velvet, with purple, brown, red with black hand writing and hand drawn figurative forms on the silk side.
Materials and techniques
Silk satin hand painted with brushes, stencilled with paper stencils and brushes and hand screen printed using acid dyes. Heat steamed to cure colours. Backing: silk/viscose mix velvet.
