Description
Rug with a linen warp and wool weft, with braided tassle at each corner, and horizontal bands of colour ranging from creams, beiges, browns, blues, pinks, greys.
Materials and techniques
Linen warp, woollen carpet yarn weft. Woven on a Swedish double countermarch loom: cyrus type. End braiding of Damascus knots with Swedish braiding and bonded finish. Corded tassels whipped. Velcro on both rugs suitable for display mount.
