Maker's statement

Feel Flows is an important work, it marks a change from work which had used a complete lace image, drawn from history. In Feel-Flows the lace is deconstructed, the imagery moves, flows across the surface. The composition is bio-morphic in reference, a parallel drawn between cellular structures in fabrics and cells within the human body. It represents a journey within and outside the self.
