T66A: Four colours of woollen yarn for warp. Woven using square tablets with four threads per tablet. Belt shaped by adding and subtracting warp threads. Each square in the patterned area achieved by turning the tablets alternately backwards and forwards.T66B: Warp and weft of black and white 'rug warp cotton'. Square tablets, four threads per tablet. Starting loop and chevron patterns are warp-twined double cloths. Central portion has double cloths diamonds and striped single-layer construction.T66C: Warp of bleached and natural 2/16s linen, weft of natural linen. Woven using square tablets, four threads per tablet. Tubular starting loop. Lettering uses double-laced technique, alternately 'S' and 'Z' threaded. Belt tapers by extracting warp threads.T66D: Warp and weft of white worsted yarn. Woven on square tablets using four threads per tablet. Double starting loops. Geometric patterns produced by 'S' and 'Z' warp twining. One small area of weft brocading. Belttapers at end and becomes two four-strand braids with whiped ends.T66E: Norwegian spaelsan woollen warp, carpet wool weft. Woven on square tablets using two threads per tablet threaded in side holes. Double-weave structure, with periodic transposition of tablets to achieve spiralling effect.
