Description
Veil made of unsupported lurex metallic yarns with multicoloured squares of weaving.
Materials and techniques
Unsupported Lurex metallic yarns woven on handframes, spaced one double thread per centimetre. Intersecting threads bonded with pigmented resins, to form 'beads'. All frames and 'pens' to apply the resin are purpose designed and made.

Maker's statement
1985: This veil was amongst my first commissions on leaving the RCA in 1980 and used in John Boorman's film "Excaliber" released in 1982. This publicity has led to many commissions in this country and abroad.
