Unsupported lurex metallic yarns with intersecting square shapes and gold-coloured resin beads.
Materials and techniques
Unsupported Lurex metallic yarns woven on handframes, spaced one double thread per centimetre. Intersecting threads bonded with pigmented resins, to form 'beads'. All frames and 'pens' to apply the resin are purpose designed and made.
