Materials and techniques
Cotton duck and canvas surfaced with pigments, PVA, gesso, varnish and metal leaf. Surfaced fabric then cut and torn into fragments, then constructed into finished piece using machine stitching with cotton threads; sealed with wax or varnish, then backed with cotton duck.
