Description
Round, turned wood box with a screw on lid, with fine cuts spiralling from the centre top of the lid.
Materials and techniques
Kingwood. The screw-on lid carved with fine radiating flutes. The decoration on the lid is cut by a graver directed by a lever. (Technique invented in 1976 by the maker).
