Dyed flat band cane, centre cane and cotton, complex linking with cotton wrapped joins. Technique based on South American hammock.

Maker's statement
Flexible forms excite me tremendously. I don't think in terms of baskets or containers but in structure. On the Brink is about balance. Ribs and stakes help the flexibility of the structure, without them it would move and tip over in a change of atmosphere.
