Description
Chair in two parts, the back and the seat, both made of lacquered plywood. The adjustable back is a solid piece that slots into the top of the seat, which is a hollow box.
Materials and techniques
Plywood covered with mid-grey industrial lacquer. Up to 27 coats of industrial cellulose filler-surfacer sprayed onto the plywood construction. Each coat is sanded down, then the final coat rubbed down with fine wire wool and white spirit, and waxed with dulling wax.
