Description

Large round woven willow basket with two twisted handles.

Materials and techniques

Brown 'Harrison' willow, steamed. Bottom made of paired willows, butt to tip, tip to butt, upset three-rod waling, English randed over two behind one. Top wale: four-rod, behind two, in front of two. Border: seven-rod, behind two. Two two-rod twisted handles plus winders over border. Foot: four rods.
