Veneered chipboard, tubular metal tie bar, laminated plywood.
Veneered chipboard tetrahedrons - the top cantilevered surfaces held together with a tubular metal tie bar. Veneered and lipped chipboard shelves. Veneered and laminated ply (4 layers of 3mm ply) shaped in a mould or freeform with a tourniquet. Gold veneer - Movingue; other veneer dyed.

I am extra plesed with the Megatron for 2 reasons. 1-It bought out a new and very exciting technique of free-form bending, 2- Although I love to do work for people using my skills to provide them with a service, I also like to go wild every now and then and intent tht these more wacky extravagances sell throught he art market rather than the furniture one.
