Description
Poster for 'Diverse Cultures', a Crafts Council exhibition held at the Crafts Council Gallery, 12 Waterloo Place, London, from 8 August to 14 October 1990, then toured regionally. The exhibition was open to those of African, Afro-Caribbean, Asian, Middle Eastern and Far Eastern origin who were living in Britain. Work by 29 was chosen to form this touring show of 'inter-cultural craft'. People in the poster, from left to right: Jon Churchill, Fahmida Shah, Maria Wong, Adbo Nagi, Anastasia Chao, Siripan Kidd, Emmanuel Jegede, Theodora Fandousi, Vinith McWhinnie, Pamela Leung, Mohammed Adballa, Angela Taylor, Glen Ettienne, Meira Stockl, Mah Rana, Wendy Chung, Sarbjit Natt, Michael Hunt.
