Poster for 'Only Human: an exhibition about body and soul', a Crafts Council exhibition held at the Crafts Council Gallery, 44a Pentonville Road, London, from 14 October 1999 to 9 January 2000. Curated by Martina Margetts, this exhibition was about the figure as psychological site where discussion about people’s feeling as human beings at the millennial moment was hoped to be provoked. The poster, designed by Angus Hyland, Pentagram, features a detail of the work My Best Friend by Mary Jo Doherty, made in porcelain and lustre in 1998. Photography by Sara Morris.
