Maker's statement

[It is] one of an extended occasional series of hot-forged titanium bracelets and bangles.

The body and the contrast created WI this black, angular piece [are the sources of inspiration for this piece].

The patina on a forged titanium piece is often quite variegated. The nitride coating on this bangle was an experiment to see how the appearance & interaction would be changed.
